Dr. Tralance Addy, President and CEO of WaterHealth International, elected as a new fellow in the field of Social Entrepreneurship by the World Technology Network
LDr. Tralance Addy, President and CEO of WaterHealth International, has been recognized for his pioneering work in Social Entrepreneurship by the World Technology Network (http://www.wtn.net/2005/summit/finalists.html). As one of 5 newly-elected fellows out of 12 nominated by a group of distinguished peers, Dr. Addy was recognized for his work as the founder of Plebys International LLC, a "launch pad for technology enterprises targeting underserved populations worldwide" (http://www.plebys.com), as well as his role in re-shaping WaterHealth International, one of Plebys' first investments.
The World Technology Network (WTN) is virtual think tank and an elite club whose members are all focused on the business or science of bringing important emerging technologies of all types into reality. WTN's members include nearly 1000 individuals and organizations from over 60 countries nominated and judged by their peers to be the most innovative in the technology world.
