WaterHealth International Recognized on "Ten to Watch List" in Clean Tech Revolution

IRVINE, Calif., (July 2, 2007) - WaterHealth International today announced that it has been named on the "Ten to Watch" list of companies in The Clean Tech Revolution, a new book released by Collins, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.

In the book, authors Ron Pernick and Clint Wilder identify 10 companies in each of eight clean-technology industry sectors that bear watching for growth and industry influence in the near to mid-term. WaterHealth International (WHI) has been included in the Ten to Watch list for the chapter titled "Water Filtration: Turning Oceans, Wastewater, and Other Untapped Sources Into Pure Water."

"Our Ten to Watch lists at the end of each chapter highlight companies that are playing a significant role in the growth and innovation of the clean-tech industry," said Pernick, co-author of The Clean Tech Revolution and co-founder of Clean Edge, one of the industry’s premier research and publishing firms. "We looked at dozens of firms in each sector in the course of researching the book," added Wilder, co-author of The Clean Tech Revolution and contributing editor of Clean Edge. "We chose 10 companies, whether public or private, that are poised to make an impact."

In evaluating WaterHealth, the authors concluded: "The company’s technology, combined with its "end to end" business model, corporate and investment backers, and initial focus on India, could give the company what it needs to build a sustainable market presence."

"WaterHealth is honored to be named as a company to watch in the fast-growing business of clean tech," said Dr. Tralance Addy, President and CEO of WHI. "We are proud of our work demonstrating the sustainability and viability of our clean water initiatives and to be recognized in this book that spotlights and analyzes the business potential of clean tech."

In The Clean Tech Revolution: The Next Big Growth and Investment Opportunity, the authors identify the major forces that have pushed clean tech from back-to-the-earth utopian dream to its current revolution among the inner circles of corporate boardrooms, on Wall Street trading floors, and in government offices around the globe. The Clean Tech Revolution looks at developments from Shanghai, China to Hyderabad, India to Silicon Valley, highlighting breakthrough opportunities, potential roadblocks and pitfalls, and pioneering individuals, companies, and regions.
